100 Coins for the 100th Day of School Challenge
Dear Character Ed Team,
Got Change?? The annual 100 coins for the 100th day of school challenge is here! Students can participate in this voluntary donation campaign to benefit the San Diego Food Bank.
New this year: Each student will be given a collection box that they can decorated and fill with coins. We hope this will encourage more students to participate and give even more generously because they will take ownership of the project and keep it top of mind.
Families can also participate in the EBS Virtual Food Drive.
What a great way to show our Generosity, Compassion, Responsibility, and all our character traits!
Flyers with boxes went out Friday, February 5th . Boxes will be collected in the classrooms on the 100th day of school, Friday, February 19th.
We need you to:
Encourage students to participate when you teach your lessons.
Help with gathering collections boxes and bagging coins for the coin machine on Friday, February 19th. (Many hands make light the work!) If you are available to help please email Farrah Alyase at Media78@gmail.com
Thanks for your support!
